Cool Kids

The Earthkeepers Club at Sequoia Middle School
under the direction of Teacher Sharon Gehr, voted unanimously to have a fundraiser to support Haven Humane Society.   They sold lollipops at school during lunch breaks to raise the money for the animals.   The Earthkeepers Club participates in recycling and tree planting activities at school.   They hope you will do your part for a better environment by spaying or neutering your pets to help protect the animal population.

Sisters, Staci & Judi , wanted to help the animals - so they drew pictures of animals and flowers, and went around the neighborhood selling the pictures.   They then donated all the money they raised to Haven Humane Society.   They have two cats, Mickey and Mouse.   They enjoy meeting all the cats that are looking for homes here, and they hope you do too!
10-year old Sammy wanted to be part of a unique project at Haven Humane Society.   Sammy went door-to-door on his scooter (with a walkie-talkie so his parents knew he was safe), and explained his cause to his neighbors.   He raised a lot of money for his cause, which is currently being built behind the dog kennels.   Look for the new outdoor greeting kennel, (soon to be named), coming soon!   Sammy goes to Pacheco Elementary School, and enjoys playing baseball.
