Dog Licensing

All dogs in Shasta County are required to be properly licensed and vaccinated against rabies after the age of four months. 

For your convenience, dog licenses may be purchased in the following locations. Rabies vaccines are also available at these locations:

Click here to fill out a license request form and get pricing information.  One form will accommodate licensing up to three dogs.  Dog owners 60 years and older qualify for the senior discount.  You may also print and mail the form to Haven Humane Society at PO Box 992202, Redding CA 96099-2202.  Make checks payable to Haven Humane Society and include a copy of the rabies vaccination certificate.  A license will be mailed to you once processed.

Get a good deal at one of our Licensing Clinics.  Rabies vaccines are offered for $8 when purchasing a license.  If your dog's rabies vaccination has not expired, please bring the certificate to obtain another license.  Microchips are $20 at licensing clinics.
