Haven Connects with Project Homeless Connect

Each year, Haven Humane Society attends Project Homeless Connect at the Civic Center.  In 2014, our veterinarian and RVTs performed 230 pet exams, and 62 free spay/neuter surgeries the next day at our Day of Hope.  Day of Hope was sponsored by Steve & Stacey Lowery of 02 Motorsports and Catherine Cunningham.  We gave away 260 bags of pet food and held 156 dogs and 9 cats in our mobile adoption unit while their owners sought services inside the building.  Haven Humane Society has taken part in this event for the past 5 years and is pleased to offer these services to pet owners who would not otherwise seek them.
