Clare Gaston, President-- Clare has been an Occupational Therapy Assistant for 31 years. For the last seven years, Clare has worked with her dogs to bring animal assisted therapy to people in need. She has served on several boards and joined Haven's board in June, 2009. Dr. Heather Evans, Vice President-- Dr. Evans is a Veterinarian who specializes in small and exotic animals. She has served on the board since January, 2008. Vickie Marler, Treasurer-- Vickie is a Chief Financial Officer. She has served on the board since December, 2004. Dr. Jean Huang, Secretary -- Dr. Huang is a Veterinarian at VCA Gateway Animal Hospital. She has served on the board since January, 2008. Wanda Agostini, Director-- Wanda has lived in Shasta County since 1952 and was the first woman foreman of the Shasta County Grand Jury. She's a nine year member of the Board of Registered Nurses and enjoys being active in politics and community affairs. She has served on the board since 2001. Melissa Hunt, Director -- Melissa serves on the Anderson City Council. She has served on the board since 2007. Vince D'Amato, Director -- Vince is a financial planner and has served on the board since 2009. Jeannette Fisher, Director -- Jeannette has been a member of the board since 2010. Jean King, Director-- Jean was raised in Shasta County. After living in Southern California for 30 years, she recently retired and moved back to Redding. She is a real estate broker and serves on several community committees and boards. Jean joined the board in 2010. Nadya Vera - Nadya joined the board in 2011. She comes from the Humane Society of the United States in Washington, D.C. where she was a Public Relations Specialist. Nadya has an M.A. in Mass Communications and a B.A. in Theater, and was the recipient of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship throughout her undergraduate studies. She is a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Connie Grinols - Connie joined the board in 2011. She is the Curriculum Chair for Leadership Redding, creator of the new non-profit board for Big Bike Weekend, member of Rotary and Soroptimist International, and board member for the Northern California Veterans Support Group.
